Friday, December 12, 2008

Well its been a while since I last posted here. I promise that will change.

Could it be? Recent reports have been rampant about Morrissey recently speaking with former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr in recent weeks have settled their differences. There are reports that the Coachella Festival, which is held every April of each year, is already ready to swing in the buckets of cash their way. Don't take my word for it, check out this report for the UK Telegraph by Clicking Here.

In Morrissey news, his latest album 'Years of Refusal' is set to be released in the UK February 16, 2009 with a USA release TBA. He has also announced a slew of dates in the UK to kick off his tour listed below.

Scott Weiland Reforming Stone Temple Pilots?

Sunday, January 27, 2008

According to Slash of Velvet Revolver, lead singer of Velvet Revolver Scott Weiland is set to reunite the influential San Diego Grunge based Stone Temple Pilots after the current Velvet Revolver spring tour concludes. For now the talk is playing a handful of summer reunion shows, with no other additional info on what is beyond for STP.

STP broke up in late 2002; the band's last album was the previous year's "Shangri-La Dee Da."

Led Zeppelin Reunion Video and Photos

Tuesday, December 11, 2007

Whats?!? You Say? Led Zeppelin folks, one of Rock's greatest all time acts, is back after a 27 year hiatus, with lead singer Robert Plant, lead guitarist Jimmy Page, bassist John Paul Jones + John Bonham's son Jason at the helm of drummer. The band, pushing their 60s, call it quits originally in 1980 when then drummer John Bonham passed away. Hey if the Rolling Stones can still do it, why not Led Zeppelin?

Some video of the reunion has finally surfaced on YouTube performing 'Stairway to Heaven' at a December 10, 2007 reunion performace at the O2 arena in London, England, as well as high quality photos. 14,000 lucky fans were in attendance and one lad apparently paid 83,000 pounds for the show. Which I am sure is a whole lotta US bucks.

There are rumors floating about that a full scale tour is planned though not confirmed as of yet. We'll keep you posted.

For now enjoy some tasty media content from the show:
