Guns n Roses News Update + 'Chinese Democracy'
Sunday, April 27, 2008
The GnR 14 year in the making album 'Chinese Democracy' has been finished for about 4 months now, and we wanted to catch you up on the latest from the GnR Camp.
- Robin Finck is back with NIN and accompanying them on their upcoming tour. According to http://www.gunsnroses.com
Robin's plans caught everyone in Guns, as well as our fans, a bit off-guard.
Really, Del James' private e-mail that someone took upon themselves to post publicly is the best way for us to address things at this time: "Only Robin knows what Robin's doing."
Neither we nor management, etc., know any more in this regard and we prefer not to speculate or offer opinions at this time.
Robin's Robin. We're in negotiations for the release of "Chinese Democracy" and things are going well.
When we begin to put tour plans together, we'll see where things are. Until then, Robin's touring with NIN and we're working with management on our game plans.
Our thanks to those who continue to show their support.
Guns N' Roses
- There will be NO Reality show accompanying the release of Chinese Democracy
- Album is rumored to be finally released late summer to Chirstmas of 2008
Chinese Democracy Finished?
Tuesday, January 15, 2008
As 2008 rolls along we are hearing rumors that reclusive gnr vocalist Axl Rose has finished the long LONG awaited epic record 'Chinese Democracy' and has turned it into Geffen Records. However, apparently another long delay may ensue as apparently record execs and Axl cannot agree upon on how to market the record. Ughhh... I guess this is the album that Axl will be taking all the way to his grave.
Incidentally, full tracks have been available online for sometime. Also I urge all you loyal gunners to check out the site Freedom Through Chinese Democracy for a chronological look at the history behind this album.
